Maricich Health Wins Delegate’s Choice Award at 2018 Hospital Marketing National Conference
Maricich Health took home the coveted Delegate’s Choice Award in addition to two other Golds at the 2018 Hospital Marketing National (HMN) Conference held on June 5 in Atlanta, Georgia. Agency peers and hospital marketers around the country voted Maricich Health’s “Go Public!” campaign for Santa Clara Valley Medical Center as the Gold winner of the Delegate’s Choice Award. Through a vibrant, multifaceted marketing strategy, “Go Public!” highlighted the ongoing advancements at Santa Clara to overcome misconceptions about the leading edge care delivered by the San Jose based public health system.
To be eligible for the Delegate’s Choice Award, competitors must be finalists in at least three of the key Ad Award categories: Best Website, Best Print Campaign, Best Service Line Campaign, and Best Television Campaign. Winners demonstrate a comprehensive strategy expressing ingenuity and efficacy across a wide variety of mediums. “Go Public!” was a finalist in all four key categories. The campaign also won Golds for Best Multicultural Campaign and Best Out-of-Home Campaign.
The HMN conference is hosted annually by DTC Perspectives, a training and publishing company focused on hospitals, healthcare systems and pharmaceutical marketers. Competitors for the HMN awards are judged by DTC Perspectives’ editorial and executive teams.
Maricich Health’s HMN award wins are the most recent in a series of accolades earned by the agency during the first half of 2018. Earlier this year, the agency’s work for Santa Clara Medical Center and L.A. Care Health Plan were recognized by the Addy Awards, HMR’s Healthcare Advertising Awards, and the Telly Awards, gathering a total of twenty-seven awards in multiple categories.
